Awana President/CEO joins new ECFA advisory panel
Awana President/CEO Jack Eggar is among 15 prominent Christian ministry leaders, educators and nonprofit executives just appointed to the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) board of reference.
ECFA, founded in 1979, provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with the ECFA standards pertaining to financial accountability, fundraising and board governance. Awana has been a member of ECFA for a decade.
The new advisory panel supports ECFA leadership in its mission to help Christ-centered organizations maintain the financial and ethical best practices required to earn and keep the public’s trust.
Among the appointees joining Eggar are Stephen Douglass, president of Campus Crusade for Christ; Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; Jack Hayford, founder and president of The King’s University; Dennis Rainey, president and CEO of FamilyLife; Wess Stafford, president of Compassion International; Joseph M. Stowell, president of Cornerstone University and Joni Eareckson Tada, founder and chief executive officer of Joni and Friends International Disability Center.
